Privacy PolicyData Use PolicyAI PolicyEvent Terms

Rich Auntie Capital's Startup School is produced under Taylor Ventures, LLC, dba Full Proof Brand Studio, and its principal Kristin Taylor Hines (together, "Producer"), in co-production with Rich Auntie Capital and the University of Denver Daniels College of Business. By purchasing a ticket, registering for, or attending the event, you agree to the following.

Assumption of risk

Attendance at Startup School, including all sessions, breakouts, receptions, and any associated offsite gathering, involves inherent risks, including but not limited to travel to and from the venue, being in a crowded public space, and participation in networking and social activities. By attending, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation.

Release and waiver of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Colorado law, you release, waive, and discharge Producer, Rich Auntie Capital, the University of Denver Daniels College of Business, and each of their respective officers, employees, contractors, and agents (together, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damage to you or your property arising out of or connected with your attendance at or participation in the event, whether caused by negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, except where such liability cannot be waived under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your attendance at the event, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will the Released Parties be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the event, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The Released Parties' total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the event will not exceed the amount you paid for your ticket.

Event changes and cancellation

Producer reserves the right to modify the event schedule, speakers, or format, or to cancel the event, due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. If the event is cancelled, your ticket will be credited toward a future Rich Auntie Capital or Startup School event. If a future event has not been scheduled within 6 months of the cancellation, you will receive a full refund.

Photography and recording

As described in the Privacy Policy above, attendance constitutes consent to being photographed or recorded, and to Producer's use of your likeness in marketing materials, unless you notify Producer in writing in advance of the event.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of these terms or your attendance at the event will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado.
